Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data Nagisa collects, how it is used, and your rights.
Nagisa is operated by an independent developer based in Nairobi, Kenya. For any privacy-related questions, contact us at nathanlarrius25@gmail.com.
Paddle is our authorised reseller and acts as the Merchant of Record for all Nagisa transactions. This means Paddle — not Nagisa — is the seller of record on your purchase. As a result:
We collect the minimum data necessary to provide the service. From Paddle, after a completed purchase, we receive:
We do not collect or store your name, address, card details, or any payment information. We do not track which soundscapes you play, your listening duration, or any behavioural or usage analytics.
Your in-app preferences — favourite tracks, last played track, and offline cache status — are stored locally on your device using the browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and Nagisa cannot access it remotely.
We do not sell your data, run advertising, build user profiles, or share your data with any third party other than Paddle for the purposes above.
Nagisa does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Paddle's checkout overlay may set session cookies strictly necessary to complete the payment transaction; these are governed by Paddle's Privacy Policy.
We retain your email address and subscription reference for as long as your subscription is active, and for a reasonable period thereafter for accounting and legal compliance purposes. You may request deletion at any time by emailing us — we will action this within 30 days.
Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws (including GDPR for EU/UK residents and CCPA for California residents), including:
To exercise any of these rights regarding data Nagisa holds, email nathanlarrius25@gmail.com. For data held by Paddle, please contact Paddle directly via their privacy policy page.
Subscription verification is performed over HTTPS. We do not operate a database of user records — your subscription status is verified in real time via Paddle's API. The minimal data we handle is kept secure and is not stored beyond what is necessary.
Nagisa is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
